Erik Dreyer realises images for Women's Emergency Call and Beyond, and presents his Christmas mailing

To mark the international day against violence towards women, Erik Dreyer photographed two motifs for Women's Emergency Call Munich. CD Oliver Helligrath of the Brand.David agency headed the creative production.

A shot of brass knuckle-dusters, that looks like an engagement ring, encased in a jewellery box, raise awareness of domestic and sexual violence against women, as does a female jumping jack. In addition to the large format posters, a ‘Foul Play’ mailing was sent out.

‘Man needs courage’ - For Beyond, Erik produced images against fear. Erik Dreyer and his team realised conceptual business pictures to counter ‘the crunch’, all for Beyond Fotomedia GmbH. CD Martina Praessl developed the imagery and concept. Monica Liebetanz was in charge of the styling, and Erika Uhl mastered the brushes for hair and make up.

Broken crockery brings you luck . . . and there was lots of luck to be had! 33 porcelain Santa Clauses went to pieces until Erik and his high-speed cam were able to ‘freeze’ the perfect sequence for his picture series. It developed into a limited edition flipbook for his customers.

Whoever deems the smashed head at the end as too depressing, is welcome to play the footage in reverse and Santa Clause will magically piece together! Those that missed out can catch up with the online film version.
