Fröhlich Management : 2012 Olympic Games - the VISA ‘Go World’ campaign with Michael Phelps plus KENNEL & SCHMENGER Spring Summer 2012

Photographer POBY travelled all over the world to celebrate the London 2012 Olympics and photographed numerous Olympic athletes, including swimmer Michael Phelps for the newest VISA campaign. The agency in charge was TBWA/CHIAT/DAY.

The shoot with the multi-gold medal winner and swimmer Michael Phelps turned out to be a particular highlight in Poby's long career. Poby used to be a professional water polo player and therefore shares the passion for the deep blue element.

Poby photographed Russian gold medal winner in pole vaulting, Yelena Isinbayeva, in Monaco. Next stop was Paris, where he photographed Valerie Adams, gold medal winner in shot putting from New Zealand.

Nastia Liukin, the gold medal winner in gymnastics also posed for Poby’s camera. Poby also enjoyed the company of Li Na, the only Chinese top tennis player, and photographed her in Munich, where she spent the winter.

Last but not least, Poby met the new beach volleyball dream team; Emanuel Rego and Alison Cerutti in London. The location for the shoot was The Horse Guards Parade in the middle of London.

Photographer Mayk AZZATO and H&M artist Vanessa FEILITSCH carried out a shoot in Majorca for footwear brand KENNEL & SCHMENGER (S/S 2012).

Kennel and Schmenger was established in 1918 in Pirmasens, where the company is located to this day and continues to produce elegant shoes.
