THOMAS KETTNER was nominated for the German Design Award 2012 for the 'AUGE um AUGE' book with ANNI FRIESINGER. The award is presented by the Rat für Formgebung/German Design Council. We already introduced the project on GoSee – go to www.augeumauge-annifriesinger.de to see it in its full glory.
Thomas captured new hair trends for two hairdressers at the German Hairdressing Awards, both of which received multiple award nominations. Each year, Schwarzkopf Professional and TOP HAIR International magazine honour the most creative hairdresser in Germany. The award ceremony will take place in March 2012.
Furthermore, Thomas portrayed high-end jewellery for LANGANI. The label made costume jewellery socially acceptable in the 1950s. The name harks back to founder Anni Lang's maiden name and a black pearl has been the trademark symbol of every single piece of jewellery ever since.
Thomas photographed an unusual calendar project for the Vitesse agency, all about the subject of 'power plant', together with the German figure skating world champions. The result can be found at www.kraftwerk-calender.com.
He also produced works for HOLE and CHAOS magazines with fashion designer SAYURI and make-up artist SUZA SANTALAB.
Thomas Ketter paid homage to Amy Winehouse in the 'Ethno Punk' fashion series, based on a creative concept by stylist Petra Branscheid and make-up artist Iris Person.
PETER HAHN commissioned him with several productions for the outdoor / hiking collection in Garmisch and the Gardasea against an awe-inspiring natural backdrop.
Furthermore, he carried out a shoot in the Dolomites for SPORT 2000, produced the current C&A campaign & leaflets in Cape Town and a fashion spread for the new issue of TCHIBO Magazine.
Anja BOXHAMMER portrayed trendy hairstyles in Munich in collaboration with Oliver Szilgay (Hair & Make-up) and Sammy Zayed (Styling) for the current 74 MAGAZIN THE HAIR BIBLE Issue #3.
The new MENRAD BRILLEN campaign motifs were also created in a studio in Munich, on display as of January 2012.
In February and March, Anja Boxhammer will be residing in Cape Town, where she will be working on several photography shoots.
