KME Studios : TRAVELLER'S WORLD fashion at Ice-Hotel Kiruna, SPORTSCHECK catalogue and SPORT 2000's 'Ski will rock you' campaign plus video

Adrian Bela RABA and his team travelled to Kiruna, the northernmost city in Sweden for TRAVELLER’S WORLD magazine, where they produced a series featuring the latest winter fashion amidst the unique and natural landscapes of the high north, complete with sled dogs and reindeer.

From Prada to Toni Sailor Sports, all the big designer labels were included. Ice Hotel Kiruna, vanguard and prototype of the intermittently world famous ice hotel concept, served as the backdrop for the fashion motifs.

The icy temperatures and short days made the production a true challenge for the equipment and team. Light equipment and computer were transported over adventurous pistes to rather unusual locations, which are usually only accessible to the native Laplanders a.k.a. 'Samis'.

The new series was further enhanced with an eye-catching layout using half-transparent maps and collages. ANGELIKA Francis c/o CLOSE UP took care of the models' make-up and Christine Leppien was in charge of their styling.

Michael MÜLLER was on the road back in spring 2010 for the production of a total of three SPORTSCHECK catalogues. The task was to capture authentic athletic motifs for this year's main winter catalogue and two special catalogues for running and outdoor sports.

The weather frequently forced him and his team to change locations, which included Lake Garda, Milan, St. Moritz and the Dolomites. Tremendous effort and flexibility made it possible to capture all the desired scenarios despite the antagonistic weather conditions.

Regina Stiefl headed the styling and Maria Mutz applied the make-up. Dan Wisur was the production leader.

Towards the end of the last winter season, Michael MÜLLER was commissioned for his first SPORT 2000 shoot, in collaboration with the St. Elmo agency from Munich. The company promotes the new 'Rocker' ski generation with a slogan that reads 'Ski will rock you'. The key visual, featured in all levels of the advertising campaign is an electric guitar turned into a 'rocker ski'.

Michael's assignment was to photograph ski action and fashion for the current winter catalogue as well as the snowboard flyer. Michael, his team and team of real athletes produced imagery at Arlberg, in Innsbruck and in the Zillertal valley.

The associated Social Media campaign 'Stephan rocks' was produced by KME studios over the course of the last weeks and is made up of twelve video clips, in which the current season's skis with Rocker technology are being tested.
