Kristina Korb : FIRST PANORAMA shoot, TATLER cover, editorials for GLAMOUR and ELLE plus 'Black in Dark' / ZEIT magazine exhibition at Pinakothek der Moderne

Tony KIM photographed top model Elisa Sedanoui in a very cinematic style for FIRST PANORAMA. The production was inspired by the music video for 'Wicked Game'. Darryl Rodrigues came up with the accompanying outfits, Noella Corral styled the hair by and Jessica Nedza applied the make-up.

Tony created an 80s style story in the Italian Alps for Italian edition GLAMOUR, which reminds us of Princess Stephanie of Monaco.

He also produced a lingerie series, featuring ten different outfits, with the same team, consisting of stylist Edoado Marchiori, hairstylist Federico Ghezzi and make-up artist Luciano Chiarello. The results were published by GLAMOUR.

Tony produced the 'Vamp it up' story based on the liberty movement for ELLE International. The story has already been published in Russia, Japan, China and a further ten countries. Laurence and Daria P. posed for the camera, styled by Claire Sibille, make-up by Corinne Gues, hair by Christoph Haenbein.

In November, TATLER UK Spa Guide's cover will feature Andrea VARANI.

Furthermore, the Pinakothek der Moderne presents an unusual and provocative approach to product photography with Hubertus HAMM's 'Black in Dark'.

The 'Black in Dark' exhibition presents ten photographs, whose subject matter is only revealed to the viewer on second glance. They irritate and provide only a few clues, which might help in grasping the nature of the pictures' elements. Hamm has spent many years conceptually dealing with the threshold of human perception in his photography by using the colour black.

He photographed the 'Black in Dark' series in the spring of 2010 for ZEIT magazine: black designer objects in a dark corner of a room without using any artificial lightning. The objects include the 'Falling Water' light by Tobias Grau, the bicycle by Hublot or pieces by Lignet Roset and Swarovski.

Despite the lack of light sources, the items' smooth surfaces reflect minimal rays of light, grabbing our eye’s in the process. They appear to be smouldering tenderly against the backdrop of an undefined space. In addition, the deep black and muted tone of the photographs absorbs almost all of the ambient light.

Yet, it is not only the darkness that hinders the interpretation of the objects in question. The unconventional choice of perspective leaves lots of room for exegesis. The viewer stumbles about in the dark. All that is tangible evades from view and partially dissolves into the abstract.
