Kristina Korb : GLAMOUR, ELLE DECO, COSMO, BRUNO MANETTI, NORDSTROM, THOMAS DEAN & CLOSED
Tony KIM was inspired by Marguerita Duras’ autobiographical novel ‘The Lover’ in a shoot for Italian edition GLAMOUR. He travelled to Marrakech to capture the mysterious erotic relationship between a young French girl and an elegant, wealthy Vietnamese chap. The sepia and black and white editorial recounts the ‘Amour Fou’ set in the 1930s – an irrational, thrilling affair – anarchic and uncontrollable.
The 20th anniversary of German edition ELLE DECO was celebrated with a particularly beautiful issue. Andreas ACHMANN and ELLE Editor Kathrin Seidl photographed the ‘design classics’ concept in an incredibly exciting and unusual manner. The results can be viewed here on GoSee.
The HP Albrecht agency of Munich had the admittedly pubescent idea of naming breasts and other sexual body parts. Max on the left, Moritz on the right: a campaign for the club at Maximiliansplatz which shares the name: Max & Moritz. Andreas shot the motifs and certainly managed to rock the boat by doing so.
A poster advertiser refused to display the exposed breasts; another was offended by the impressive package in the man’s pants. Articles soon followed in Münchener Abendzeitung, die Süddeutsche (online), New Business and W&V.
Neither the club owners nor the agency are particularly annoyed at the extra publicity. Female club fans took it a step too far though, tattooing the logo onto their breasts in a video that is currently circulating the Internet. It’s a crazy world out there… ALEXANDER Hofmann c/o ARTISTGROUPMIERAU took care of the styling, hair and make-up.
Andrea VARANI photographed an interesting editorial with bold patterns and colours for Italian edition COSMO. In addition to this, he also shot new editorials for Spanish edition WOMAN and an attractive commercial motif for BRUNO MANETTI.
Pascal DEMEESTER has realised the summer and winter catalogues for his favourite client NORDSTROM. We have attached the motifs that saw him capture winter in four walls, as well as romantic dresses, contrasting strong lines with interesting accents.
Ralf NAU photographed yet another new commercial for designer RODRIGO TRUSSARDI from Sao Paulo. The ad for his label Super Suite Seventy Seven was published in Brazilian edition VOGUE.
Furthermore, he photographed a wealthy active lifestyle story for client THOMAS DEAN.
Susanne SPIEL shot the campaign for client CLOSED’s new kids collection, with kids climbing onto tables and chairs.
