Margaretha Olschewski : Louise Köhler portrait, Simone Thomalla for BUNTE, YALOOK shoot and BRIGITTE without models

Margaretha OLSCHEWSKI photographed the ‘American Preppy’ and ‘Coats/Jackets’ subjects for YALOOK, the new online fashion store. Kerstin Zemke was the Art Director, Chrissie Speck headed the production, both are c/o Krabiell & Liedtke.

KARIM Amerchih c/o CLOSE UP AGENCY fixed the hair and make-up, CHRISTIAN Stemmler c/o BIGOUDI carried out the styling. Jörn Mikowksy from Fashionworld GmbH/YALOOK supported the production team.

Margaretha photographed newly loved up Simone Thomalla in Berlin for BUNTE magazine. She was crowned Best Actress 2009 at the Bambi Awards. It was a very harmonious shoot and the whole team had fun working with her.

SASCHA Gaugel c/o NINA KLEIN arranged the styling, using only Hausach Couture. Markus Kopp conjured up suitable hair and make-up looks to compliment the fashion. Charlotte Cosmann took over the production in Berlin

Just a week later Margaretha photographed Simone Thomalla’s talented daughter Sophia Thomalla, at the Top of Town Suite, Mandala Hotel, Berlin. Once again, Charlotte Cosmann headed the production. SWEN Ohlson perfected the hair and make-up, JADWIGA Pokryszka carried out the styling, both are c/o BIGOUDI.

Margaretha and her team enjoyed a special job highlight just before Christmas. She photographed the wife of Germany’s Federal President. Louise Köhler impressed the whole team with her charm and professionalism and the shoot will remain unforgettable for all those involved. JADWIGA styled the first lady, whilst Serena Goldenbaum took care of her hair and make-up.

Margaretha OLSCHEWSKI photographed her assistant Isabel Jauß, who is now a successful independent animal photographer, for the current January issue of BRIGITTE, which has vowed to no longer use professional models in any of its issues.

Despite icy winds and temperatures reaching a maximum of 4 degrees, Isabel bravely mastered the shoot on the German island of Sylt – a professional model couldn’t have done any better. BRIGITTE’s Melanie Gehle arranged the summery styling, EVA Hennings c/o CLOSE UP AGENCY took care of the right hair and make-up looks. Rita Bierkamp provided production support.
