Margaretha Olschewski : Ruth Crilly and Eugen Bauder in COSMO, heavenly France - in the Provence for GRAZIA
Margaretha OLSCHEWSKI realised a shoot for UK edition COSMOPOLITAN at the legendary Portobello Hotel in Notting Hill, London. The cool couple in front of the camera comprised the charming girl with the tooth gap; Ruth Crilly and Eugen Bauder the beau.
John Birchall came as a big surprise for Margaretha – the hairdresser and the photographer already embraced in the reception area of the Portobello Hotel. John had lived in Hamburg for a long time under a different artist name and had already cut Margaretha’s hair in her kitchen back in 1994.
Linda de Barra applied the make-up, COSMO Fashion Editor Sairey Stemp provided the styling skills and dog.
This was followed by a shoot in France for GRAZIA. Margaretha captured the feel of a typical French rustic lifestyle in the Provence town of Grasse, which has gained cult status since its mention in bestselling book ‘the Perfume’. Nadia Galleazzo’s Marie Antointette styling inspired her.
Nicole, Juliana and Zuzanna were the models. And all three of them really did fight for gorgeous Gerrit’s attention… Even though the cold proved challenging for all parties involved, the images certainly don’t give it away.
The owners of the idyllic Bastide de Mathieu country house were spectacular hosts and catered for the crew’s every needs.
David Martinez styled the hair and Odile Sobra applied the make-up.
