Michael Meisen : art auction for the NCL charity in Hamburg, creative work in Besancon, culinary jewels for LSG

During the charity art auction LebensKünstler, which took place in Hamburg, the motif “Körperlos” from Michael's Italy series came under the hammer. The proceeds of the silver gelatine print went to the charitable NCL fund. Michael and over 50 other artists support the cause of financing the PHD position of a young academic researching in the field of this rare and deadly children's disease.

Furthermore, Michael listened to the summoning of the Université de Besancon. He held a lecture in Front of prospective art historians of the  Faculté des Lettres et Sciences Humaines concerning creativity in freelance photography and contract assignments.

For M.A.D Communication, Michael photographed “Culinary Jewels 2009”, the annual calendar of the largest worldwide airline catering service, LSG SkyChefs. M.A.D. CD Michael Hoffmeyer, was aided with further consultation provided by Ralf Stutz. The food was styled by Andreas Miessmer and Sabine Heck, with Eckart in charge of styling.
