Nina Rautenberg : Berlin. My city. My life. Motifs from the book on GoSee, DS DIGITALE SEITEN, LOOK BABY band shoot and STIFTUNG WARENTEST
A new photo book by André WAGNER was published in spring. ‘Berlin. My city. My life.’ Together with the author Claudia Höfling, he created a book that shows 20 celebrities and their favourite places in the capital.
The reader gets an insight into the life of famous citizens away from the limelight and learns how they live in the city, where their favourite places are, which particular events they remember and what kind of passions, loves and pet hates they associated with Berlin. The book is published by the Verlag für Berlin-Brandenburg and retails at 24.90 Euro (ISBN-10: 9783942476102).
André photographed several motifs for DS DIGITALE SEITEN’s websites. Apart from portrait photographs of the board, some pictures show the office spaces and portraits of members of staff.
André’s solo exhibition ‘Romance of Elements’ is still on display at the Samuelis Baumgarten Gallery, Bielefeld until 23.7. The landscape and cityscapes by the Chemnitz-born photographer are dominated by a dynamic composition of the light effects, which have both an imposing and evasive effect on the viewer.
The dramaturgy of these light manipulations, which are created through extremely long exposure times and artificially inserted brightness/darkness effects, lends a certain mystical charm to his pictures. Light and time are the two most important components to the photographer’s photography art: For André Wagner, photography means to paint with light: ‘the depicted light is my path through time’.
Gallery Rosendahl, Thöne & Westphal in Berlin presents Andre’s solo exhibition ‘The Beauty of Time’. The exhibition will run until the 9th of July. We have attached some of the images.
Sebastian BURGOULD took the photographs as well carrying out the post-production for the band LOOK BABY. GoSee presents the results. Furthermore, Sebastian is working on a new landscape series. We are pleased to have the opportunity to show a first motif right here.
Antje PLEWINSKI photographed a crispy and spicy chicken for the STIFTUNG WARENTEST in May. The month of June brought along a yummy artichoke-carpaccio. She also photographed balsamic vinegar for the sixth issue. We are also showcasing a variety of the packaging.
