PAM Mirjam Böhm: Spanish footballers for IBERDROLA, VW GOLF RABBIT, SCHWARZKOPF, GEROLSTEINER campaign, HAWESKO AG, WORLD CLASS Fitness, Joachim Król for MOBIL, BOEN parquet flooring and at the UPdate 12

In keeping with the Euro Cup results, PAM Mirjam Böhm has a whole lot of ‘Spain’ for the asking. In addition to a free series shot outdoors in Spain by car specialist Erik Chmil, there are also images by Spain’s Garrigosa Studio with the current Euro Cup heroes and the VW GOLF RABBIT.

In many countries, this car is simply referred to as the GOLF VI, yet other nations have dubbed the popular VW model the ‘Rabbit’, available as a special edition in Austria, Spain and the USA. However, all countries have one thing in common: dogs that chase cars. VW suggests we stop chasing rabbits and get one of our own. The DDB Barcelona agency cut to the chase when it came to creating an effective commercial image and booked the Spanish animal, car and CGI pros at GARRIGOSA STUDIO.

GARRIGOSA STUDIO photographed Spanish Euro Cup heroes for IBERDROLA Energy (Young & Rubicam Madrid). The core messages are content-related and visual overlaps in terms of attributes such as energy, endurance and ambition.

Hat trick for Christian LOHFINK! A lucky coincidence that Christian can name a total of three recent projects as 18/1 posters on a popular Hamburg street his own, thanks to the independent media planners that made the decision. The still life and liquid specialist shot the ‘Rote Grütze’ (berry compote) (Nordzucker, Klose Detering), ‘Dr. Pepper’ (Dr. Pepper, Interone) and ‘Fassbrause’ (beer) (Krombacher, Wensauer & Partner) images in this year’s second quarter (as reported by GoSee).

Christian stylishly shot two hair care products for SCHWARZKOPF, the umbrella brand of the Henkel group. The photos unite his still life photography and liquid shots in a product image for the traditional brand, which is available in over 125 countries. GoSee Member ALPHADOG took charge of the post-production.

Christian LOHFINK shot the new GEROLSTEINER print campaign. Hamburg-based agency deepblue commissioned him to shoot the new print images. Andreas Doria took care of the equally as elaborate but effective post-production.

Christian photographed BOEN’s parquet flooring in action. The recently opened headquarters of a business in Osnabrück provided the ideal location for the exemplary use of Norwegian luxury parquet brand BOEN’s products. The futuristic building was designed by Wiesbaden-based architecture studio 3deluxe, which also planned DJ Sven Väth’s achingly hip Cocoon Club.

The latest example of a free series illustrates that Erik CHMIL isn’t just great at shooting transportation. Whilst scouting locations in Spain’s Ribera del Duero, near Madrid, Cologne-based Erik happened to come across a bodega about to open, which inspired him to shoot an entire series.

Joachim Król visited Robert EIKELPOTH’s studio in Düsseldorf for DB MAGAZINE MOBIL. Welcoming German sports and show celebrities on your doorstep and on-location is no longer news to well-versed people photographer Robert.

J.Sebastian HÄNEL feels drawn to the cloister – or at least when it comes to his commission from HAWESKO AG, high quality Hanseatic wines and bubbly. Eberbach Cloister served as the location for the award-winning ‘Name of the Rose’ film. Two other names recently had a large part to play on that location for the people and portrait photographer. Dieter Greiner, the Cloister’s Vintner and Alexander Margaritoff, owner of HAWESKO AG.

The images promote a young cooperation and the cloister famed for its wine, as well as the distribution company. And even if the images speak another language: everyone was shaking to the bone behind the cloister walls. In addition to the coldness of the cloister, 400 candles kept the photographer and his assistants on their toes.

Fit as a fiddle – or should that be a young god? Such concepts are a widespread leitmotiv aimed at the constant onslaught of prospective gym clients. The same applies to Russia. People and sports specialist Johann-Sebastian HÄNEL was commissioned with the amusing and symbolic image for WORLD CLASS gyms, Russia. The campaign stars thunderously toned Zeus on a body trainer, stealthy messenger Hermes on the treadmill and poser Poseidon in the pool.

Meet Mirjam Böhm this year at the UPdate on the 26th of October in Berlin, where she will be happy to talk you through her artists’ portfolios.
