René Staud : 2010 Paris Motor Show with the VW Passat, MERCEDES-BENZ CLS and FORD Focus ST
Several works by René Staud Photography were present at this year’s ‘2010 Paris Motor Show’. VOLSKWAGEN presented the 7th version of its fleet's classic PASSAT. The team from Leonberg produced the respective picture material for the initial worldwide distribution. These encompassed studio photographs for the media press outing as well as outdoor photographs taken at prominent locations in Paris, relating to the fair's venue.
Following the collaboration for the PHAETON luxury limousine, this was the photographer’s second production this year for the company from Wolfsburg.
In this exclusive context, MERCEDES-BENZ presented the second edition of its CLS design icon, featuring an all round new design. René Staud also produced the studio production photos, which emphasise the high quality, visual and aesthetic details of the luxury coupe.
Relying on CGI animation for the production of such new releases has become customary. However, MERCEDES-BENZ once again chose the studio, in order to appropriately compose the stylistic details of its CLS class. The focus points were the harmonic lighting and exclusive elegance of exterior and interior features.
FORD focused the presentation of the already acclaimed power package's follow-up model FOCUS ST on fuel emissions, performance and visual appeal. .
The glorious play of colours on the orange special varnish posed to be an attractive challenge for René Staud Photography and his team. Due to the varnish's glowing appearance, the car was pushed into the spotlight all by itself and the effect was capitalised upon by the post-production team, who picked it up and developed it further.
Furthermore, René's homepage has been completely overhauled after its first four years in service and now sparkles with a new design. The visuals have been reduced to two main themes: imagery and overview. Content and navigation were rearranged to be more intuitive.
In addition to this, the website now features the categories FILM and PEOPLE, which complete the established categories of studio, location and CGI. Plus, the website is now accessible via iPhone and iPad. Go see for yourself at www.renestaud.com.
