Beauty and fashion photographer André RAU photographed director Pedro Almodóvar and the leading stars Antonio Banderas and Elena Anaya of his new film ‘The Skin I Live In’.

The film version of the French bestseller by Thierry Jonquet is about a cosmetic surgeon, played by Antonio Banderas, who seeks revenge for the alleged rape of his daughter. André’s picture series is being used for promotion in Spain.

Once again, GABO photographed the ‘Lebenslinien’ series for DONNA magazine. This time, the models for the portrait series were actress Iris Berben and sixties icon Uschi Obermaier.

For over 40 years, Iris Berben has been a major player in the business and is still a major player in the German film world industry. You could say the same for Uschi Obermaier. She might prefer smaller roles in her films, but the former model still dazzles with her performances.
