Tim Müller : photographed the 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP™ McDONALD’S European campaign
In spring, TBWA were commissioned with the 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP™ McDONALD’S European campaign contract. Tim Müller was booked to shoot the campaign.
25 amateur models from as many different nations as possible were cast and booked for the shoot. Tim and his tem managed to complete the elaborate street casting in Berlin in just two days. The shoot days themselves went by quick as a flash and were great fun for everyone involved; a wonderful way of getting in the spirit of the FIFA World Cup. Olé!
After the shoot (CD at TBWA) got in touch with Tim: “Thanks for your dedication in this project. Yesterday I had a look on the results and I was really happy. The light is working great and the attitude from most of our models are just perfect. I was personally impressed with kids. Specially the girl with confetti. I think we have a very nice range of people and positions.”
The (“out of home (Billboards)” and “point of purchase”) campaign was launched in around 12 European countries at the start of the FIFA World Cup.
