Claudia Bitzer : miniature wonderland for TELEKOM, portraits for IG METALL JUGEND, floral fever for NISSAN NV 200 and on holiday in Bella Italia

What appears to be an armada of tiny model people in the midst of a veritable model landscape is in fact pure reality. Tilt Shift is the secret behind this special form of photography and Christian SCHMIDT has mastered its skill to perfection.

Philipp und Keuntje developed a visual language, which makes the most of Tilt Shift photography, to accompany TELEKOM’s new “big changes start out small” campaign slogan. The photos were realised at real places. GoSee presents an image which was taken during a concert in Berlin, as well as a remote valley in Harz and a playground in Berlin. Thanks to the special technology, images could be created which take the observer on a journey through a childlike imagination.

The CD was Zoran Drobina, the art buying was taken care of by Wiebke Burmeister, the production was led by Tobias Seifert of ADD PICTURES. Further trips to the miniature wonderland are already in the pipelines and we will present them here soon.

The IG METALL JUGEND scheme’s “the future belongs to us”  slogan accompanies Harry WEBER’s people shots. The KP Works agency of Berlin wanted to create honest and open portraits of young unionists.

Harry also teamed up with various musicians again, this time his shoots included bassist Jan Strempel of  the "Three Seeds in Paris" band for their debut album which will be out in February. He captured the "Brand Brauer Frick" electro trio for 3SAT KULTURZEIT.

We can take it as a given that flowers spread joy and happiness. However, Steffen SCHRÄGLE was unaware that this principle can also apply to photo shoots…He travelled to Paris and Barcelona, where he was assigned by the creapress/BBDO agency to photograph the new NISSAN NV 200 catalogue. A great opportunity to see the joy flowers can bring was witnessed on a street in Paris which had been set up to resemble a flower market for the shoot. After the production, the team gave away the entire flower props to passing pedestrians and conjured many a smile in their faces and a buzzing atmosphere in the street.

Steffen returned from a trip to Italy’s beaches with plenty of new People shots. The everyday situations are part of a new series, which Steffen is currently working on.

Italy is Germany’s favourite holiday destination, so the editor’s at LIVING AT HOME magazine felt that they ought to try and recreate the Italian’s casual country house on their side of the Alps. They commissioned Ulrich HOPPE with a shoot, where floaty materials and a generous helping of nostalgia were the focus. The location was very much on the German side of the Alps, at a rented studio in Hamburg, which was transformed into a Tuscan villa under the creative direction of Andreas Lichtenstein of Living at Home.
