Claudia Bitzer : on location for ABN AMRO BANK, EQ7 by SIEMENS, MERCEDES

Christian SCHMIDT was on his travels for a full four weeks on behalf of Dutch Bank ABN AMRO to depict its employees at selected locations. The idea came from Draftfcb Germany: in a team campaign the employees vouch for their product with their names and faces.

A total of nine images were shot in Germany, Spain, Denmark and Austria. Whether Terracotta Warrior or bull fighter, Christian has proven his fine flair for people and landscapes. Tobias Seifert and his team from ADD PICTURES guaranteed the smooth-running of the production and the finishing touches to the photos were added by RECOM in Stuttgart. Michael Thobe (AD) Wiebke Burmeister (art buying) and Lin Willers (consultation) from the agency were there to help.

The task: a new look for the EQ7 coffee machine from SIEMENS. The solution: Ulrich HOPPE photographed the sophisticated appliance on an under lit bench, against the backdrop of a solar eclipse. We have the photos to prove it. The agency was Scholz & Friends with creatives Stefan Schabenberger and Christian Reichelt, and account manager Verena Lettau, as well as Kerstin Mende (art buying). Ulli Gajsar was responsible for the styling and Jürgen Zimmerstädt was in charge of the food styling (both c/o BIGOUDI).

Ulrich’s website has also undergone a complete overhaul. At www.ulrich-hoppe.de you can now see an overview of the different facets of his work.

Claudia’s homepage now also includes a news section, where you will find new photos by the represented photographers, and of course a whole lot of background information on the productions and people involved.

For the MERCEDES accessories catalogue Oscar VAN DE BEEK shot a total of eleven motifs of the Actros, Axor and Atego trucks – we have three of them to show you here. The photos were taken at different locations in the south of Germany. CD Henrik Koppmann and AD Tobias Mayer c/o Wire Süden lent their expertise to the shoot. Klaus Herde took care of the production, and Sandra Bürkle was responsible for freelance art buying.

To accompany the start of the “Anonyma” STERN magazine film, Harry WEBER photographed two women who were victims of gang rape by the Russians soldiers at the end of the Second World War.

As part of a freelance project Harry once again focused on classic street photography and portrayed everyday human life. This time his travels led him through urban life to two ladies who he captured on camera with careless abandon. A whole series of new work in the street photography sector can now be seen on his website www.harry-weber.com. And by the way: Harry is now also a junior member of the BFF; the German Association of Freelance Photographers.
