Claudia Bitzer : VON CONTI furniture catalogue, LEXUS RX 450 campaign in the USA, CGI motifs for MERCEDES-BENZ, Fight Club feeling with the NISSAN 370 Z, sleek bathroom furniture for HÄUSER, KINKI magazine
Time Connection – is the title of Harry WEBER’s new photo series. He was briefed to juxtapose the old and new for the VON CONTI furniture catalogue. Harry made the most of the morbid charm of the old, derelict spaces that can be found in and around Berlin, and used them as a backdrop for the modern, classic furniture designs, creating a “Time Connection“ by doing so. The team comprised: Creative Director Florian Drahorad, Art Director Michel-Maurice Lück and Art Buyer Katharina Hofmann, all c/o Serviceplan Erste Werbeagentur.
In addition to this, Harry has compiled several new photo projects on his website. Go to harry-weber.com to view his spectrum of people, portrait and street photography.
Christian SCHMIDT visualised two stereotypical Swiss characteristics for SWISS – punctuality and cleanliness. The agency was Publicis.
The photographs were realised locally, at Zurich airport, with plenty of reliable, punctual and perfectly organised Swiss air crew. RECOM provided the post production. And although they aren’t Swiss, they were just as reliable as if they had been.
Christian Schmidt produced two CGI motifs for a Philipp und Keuntje (AB Karen Schwarzer) pitch. He photographed the landscape and urban background in Spain with Sonda Production and RECOM. The CGI post production of the motifs ensued in Stuttgart.
Furthermore, he shot the new LEXUS RX 450 USA campaign. The shoot took place in California, led by the Team One agency. The post production was once again realised by RECOM.
Oscar van de BEEK produced two new MERCEDES-BENZ CGI motifs. He photographed the new Zetros high end off-road estate truck and the S-Class in Utah and Arizona. The motifs were completed by RECOM.
Oscar is currently working in Spain, where he is shooting a tip secret new car. GoSee will present the results upon release.
Steffen SCHRÄGLE captured the modern design of the NISSAN 370 Z in an old engine shed in Berlin. The pictures were inspired by the fascinating atmosphere of Fight Club. The vehicle’s on the road aspects were documented in an additional shoot on a racing track in France.
In his latest production for HÄUSER magazine, Ulrich HOPPE demonstrates how bathroom furniture has art object potential. The latest in designer furniture is depicted in four motifs for the “ish” trade fair.
However, the location is the actual chief attraction: the Ozeaneum ocean museum in Stralsund, opened its doors after opening hours especially for the shoot. Hendrik Schomburg was in charge of the production.
David SPAETH has produced two new photo series. The first, industrial spread stars in the coming issue of KINKI magazine, Zurich. David scouted his model J.C. on the street and was pleased with the results.
The second series, titled “adolescence”, presents the beauty of male youth as just as disposable as the Polaroid format it has been captured on.
