Gunda Patzke Photographers : newcomer SCANDERBEG SAUER, Blek le Rat for BOOKLET, Sebastian VON DEN AKKER

Andreana SCANDERBEG & Alexander SAUER work all over the world and live in Zurich. The things that some of us might find quite dull are all the more fun to Scanderbeg Sauer: chemistry headquarters, harbours, nuclear power plants, refineries, airports and sausage factories are there preferred work spaces.

They are specialised in corporate and industry productions, and used to difficult, challenging working conditions. They don’t just love the photographic contest of machines, but also of people. We have attached some eye candy, more can be found on the Gunda website.

Karin BERNDL conjured up a filigree stills project for the current issue of BOOKLET – a homage to French graffiti legend Blek le Rat. The renowned street artist first began spraying rats onto Parisian facades in the early 80s. Even highly celebrated (and paid) street artist Banksy bows down to le Rat. The illustration and art direction was carried out by Heidi Taylor who created a fantastic symbiosis of luxury Chanel, Shu Uemura & Co beauty products and the little urban critters.

Dortmund-based photographer Sebastian VON DEN AKKER has launched a new website with his work. The page is a large format design and presents his latest commercial and free work, with constant updates. Sebastian specialises in People, Portrait, Still Life and Conceptual photography.
