The French call it “Elan”, a truly fitting description for the joie de vivre and glow of German photographer and director Anne MENKE’s work. One just can’t help but smile in the face of the untamed, happy spirit which shines through her work, projecting a sense of happiness that is reflected in her faces.

Having spent many years working as a successful photographer, Anne now proves on GoSee that she is just as talented when it comes to communicating her skills in moving images.

In October last year, Ernesto GONZALEZ signed an exclusive contract with the ELUIH KOLEKTIF Foundation in Mexico. The foundation campaigns for the importance and use of Mexican textiles, which, due to their unique tradition and elaborate craftsmanship, are both luxurious and fashionable products.

Ernesto produced a photo series for the foundation, which will be published as a book, as well as in the October issue of Mexican ELLE. This winter the images will also be on display at The Popular Arts Museum in Mexico City.
Just before New York Fashion Week, Ernesto caught up with designer Victoria Simes, to photograph the new collection of her SALTALAMACCHIA jewellery line. Ernesto was inspired by the curves of a woman’s body, which provided a great contrast to the collection’s angular shapes. The shoot resulted in sensual monochrome images.

Ralf NAUcame up with the concept of portraying this year’s bestsellers in an editorial story for the coming holiday season. CD Simone Tobias opted for a classic approach to reflect the timelessness of a brand such as THOMAS DEAN & CO.

Inspired by old photos of his grandfather in the 50s, Ralf developed a special talent for black/white photography. He demonstrates his skills once again in his latest campaign for Brazilian fashion designer RODRIGO TRUSSARDI. The idea behind this commercial series was to show that the Spring 2010 collection is both classic, as well as young and playful.

The team headed to the Meatpacking district in Manhattan for the new SUPER SUITE SEVENTY SEVEN label collection shoot. The photos were published in Brazilian edition VOGUE.

Aristocratic elegance, majestic florals, Russian folklore flair. Tartan brides and sensual Cossack queens. Andrea VARANI played with the stars in the Manege for German edition COSMOPOLITAN.

Model Olga Lebedeva was layered in gorgeous fabrics and fur hats from labels such as John Galliano, Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana, surrounded by fire eaters and jugglers. Two camels also felt that they just had to pose for Andreas’ camera. The production was headed by Elcin Aiser. MELANIE MARIE Kania c/o ARTISTGROUPMIERAU took care of the hair and make-up. The editorial for the November issue was realised at Munich’s Zirkus Roberto.

Seychelles-born newcomer Philip North COOMBES catapulted himself to the highfliers of photography. Over the past 20 years his career has seen him realise shoots for countless top international brands. He has always wanted to produce documentaries and finally gave in, travelling to Mount Everest this year, where he will shoot his first film.

Over the past two years he worked for the BBC as the co-producer of “Everest ER“. He also produces impressive image films, which GoSee Film is pleased to present in examples for SPEEDO and AIGLE.
