NEW : Link Image, photo agency, Stockholm
Link Image is NEW at GoSee. The Stockholm-based photo agency offers high-quality photography and works with the who’s-who of the Scandinavian photography scene, including Andreas Ackerup, Anti Wendel, Camilla Åkrans, Carl Bengtsson, Elisabeth Toll and Jimmy Backius. Link Image was formed in the year 2000 with a focus on advertising photography, promptly followed by a foray into the fashion world.
In spring 2006 ten new photographers were added to the agency’s books, including Gunnar Smoliansky, Gerry Johansson, Helene Schmitz and Dawid. This spectrum of photography was extended with one common denominator in the foreground: quality. Contact partners at Link Image are Christian Svorono and Mia Bengtsson Plynning, who have worked in the photography sector for many years, and are on hand to assist clients with their selection of photos.
With the arrival of Magnus Magnusson, Link Image is proud to present a new photographer in their archive. Magnus commutes between Paris and Stockholm, and specialises in fashion photography. His cineaste style is underlined by his near constant use of daylight. His list of clients includes BIG magazine, GLAMOUR, BON and H&M. In addition to his photography he works for glossy fashion magazine PERFECT. Here is some photographic proof of the pudding, more can be found on the picture agency’s website.
Between 9 November and 25 January the Centre Culturel Suedois in Paris is presenting the exhibition “I Love Borås” by Lars Tunbjörk. His “Winter” exhibition is on show at the same time in the Galerie VU, 2 rue Jules Cousin, Paris.
Martin Bogren’s “Notes” exhibition can be viewed until 23 December in the Tres Hombres Art Gallery at the Hotel Tylösand. This hotel in the Halland region houses the largest gallery in Sweden. Photography takes centre stage here and the gallery has the biggest collection of photography by Anton Corbijn in Scandinavia. Incidentally, the owner of the gallery is Per Gessle, former Roxette band member, also a renowned and self-confessed photography collector in Sweden.
And until 23 November, you have one last chance to see Martina Hoogland Iwanov’s exhibition “Far too Close” at the Stockholm Fotografins Hus (Smålandsgatan 7).
