NEW : Thomas von Salomon, photographer, Munich

Munich-based photographer Thomas von Salomon is NEW at GoSee. Thomas began his career over 20 years ago in the still life sector. However, he soon discovered his foible for motor sports photography – without turning his back on his still life.

His studio is located in the centre of Munich and is technically equipped to the max. His 17m cavetto is ideally suited for one or the other car shoot.

He recently shot the GINA BMW concept car. The concept vehicle has been on display since the end of June at the new BMW Museum, Munich. The roadster’s aluminium space frame is covered in metallic, shimmering material instead of tin or aluminium. The metal skeleton which lies underneath provides the form and stability, it can also be moved through electricity and electric hydraulics. The photos emphasise the futuristic approach. BMW state: “The GINA Light Visions Model bridges the gap between vision and reality with its series of trademarks, that hint at the direct link to vehicle series”. What we really want to find out is, how much of the study will be applied to our everyday cars.
