Nixenberg : title of theVOLKSWAGEN BANK ChampionsClub catalogue and photographs at Horizonte Photofestival

Photographer duo MEIKE NIXDORF and GRIT HACKENBERG alias Nixenberg’s “Sea of Clouds” photograph, provided the working title of the VOLKSWAGEN BANK ChampionsClub catalogue. This year the catalogue’s theme was the deep-sea and its fascinating inhabitants.

An equally as unusual book on the subject is "The Deep, life in the deep-sea" by Claire Nouvian, published in 2006 by Knesebeck Verlag.

This year some of the duo’s photos can also be admired at the Photofestival Horizonte in Ostseeheilbad Zingst, Germany. Their "Blackblue" series is displayed in the “Longing for the Sea” show. The festival closes on 7 June – for more information go to www.zingst.de
