Shotview : newcomer ALEX AIKIU, Grace Jones for V MAGAZINE, ELLE, FANTASTIC MAN, BOLERO, STERN, PENKOV

Stylist ALEX Aikiu has joined the SHOTVIEW books. The Fashion Director of French PLAYBOY has worked for CHANEL, DIOR, UNGARO, LAGERFELD and ANOTHER MAGAZINE. ALEX regularly collaborates with Art Director and photographer Jean Paul Goude, the man behind the renowned Grace Jones album covers and videos. The creative team recently produced the cover of V MAGAZINE starring none other than the legendary Grace Jones.

Luis SANCHIS shot a “Jeans” spread with stylist Sofia Odero and “La Ragazza di Panema“ with stylist Benedetta del´Orto, both of which are published in the new issue of ELLE ITALY. The second shoot saw Luis travel to the renowned Ipanema beach in Rio de Janeiro. He also photographed the “Blush” spread for the March issue of DOUBLE MAGAZINE.

FANTASTIC MAN magazine sent art photographer Erwin WURM, renowned for his One Minute Sculptures, to meet up with famous industry designer Konstantin Grcic at his design office in Munich. Many of Grcic’s products have been decorated with the Red Dot Award, such as the “Mayday” light which has been taken up in the Museum of Modern Art in New York’s permanent collection.

Joachim BALDAUF realized a spread titled “Daddy Cool“ for BOLERO MEN, he was aided by stylist Martina Riebek. He then went on to capture the latest denim trends on top models Eva Padberg and Franziska Knuppe (Styling: Claudia Hofmann) for STERN magazine.

This was followed by another shoot by Joachim for STERN’s March issue, this time with actress Heike Makatsch. We have attached motifs from the 7-page spread.

YASMINE Eslami has collaborated with Laurence Nguyen to launch a lingerie and denim brand, called YL. She hooked up with photographer Alex Antitch to shoot the PETITE FILLE DODÉLE editorial for the current issue of DOUBLE MAGAZINE.
