Upfront : ROLLING STONE, MUSIKEXPRESS, ...
The past week was full of music at Upfront. Sven SINDT went up north for the mag ROLLING STONE to shoot a story about German singer Jasmin Wagner and her new songwriter Bernd Begemann. The photos of this surprising team are in the current issue. Unfortunately Sven SINDTs visit in the studio of German band Sportfreunde Stiller was short - but long enough to shoot a few good portraits. The rest of the pictures can be seen in the current edition of the mag MUSIKEXPRESS. The next stop for Sven was the Berlin band Mariannenplatz. The meeting place for the relaxed shoot was a Hamburg studio. Next to the normal portraits they shot a few photos which were printed in life-size black and white and photographed again in different landscapes. Ina Cierniak did the styling and make-up. Next he flew to Munich to photograph the rappers of Blumentopf. The extremely photo-shy artists were very impressed Svens creative mind, making the day a big success. Daniela Madaus did the make-up. Sven is also responsible for the cover of Sashas recent single *Goodbye*. The photographer Sebastian SCHMIDT also shot two CD-covers. In front of his camera on location near Barcelona - the wonderful duo Yvonne Catterfeld and Eric Benét. Second place of the German version of *American Idol* Mike Leon Grosch was photographed by Sebastian too. He and his team went to Berlin to give Mike the right look for his first CD. Even with all the fuss around him and his number one single in Germanz Mike manages to stay natural and down to earth just as you know him on TV. ILKA Jaenicke c/o M4 MOTION did the make-up.
