Anke Luckmann : with Formula One star Sebastian Vettel and the ‘Berlinette’ for GQ Germany plus free New York series
Anke LUCKMANN photographed the two-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel for the GQ Germany issue released on the 12th of April.
Anke tells us “The shoot took place during the test drives on the Circuit de catalunuya – my excuse for the fact that I had to scream and shout at Sebastian for the majority of the shoot in order to communicate with him...
The unstoppable sound that was surrounding us, caused by cars that were speeding by rendered a normal conversation virtually impossible.
Sorry, Sebastian, I know you love the sound … I on the other hand was as hoarse as it gets when I woke up the next day.”
GQ thought of something special for Sebastian – and organised an original 'Berlinette' for him. The 'Berlinette' is a legend in the motor sport circuit and features a synthetic coating weighing a mere 27-kilograms.
The Renault Alpine A110 dominated the rally-scene with the model in the early 1970s. Sebastian always wanted to jump inside the old-timer by his motor supplier. “We were happy to fulfil his wish”, explains GQ.
GoSee is also featuring the freelance series, which Anke brought home from New York.
