Marc Trautmann : MERCEDES SL in El Mirage Dry Lake and NISSAN Qashqai in Los Angeles

Photographer Marc TRAUTMANN and his crew photographed two projects in El Mirage and Los Angeles by the end of last year.

The first project saw the portrayal of the new Mercedes SL for the MERCEDES BENZ magazine, published by Conde Nast: Marc and his crew realised the motifs at the El Mirage Dry Lake in the Californian Mojave Desert.

Since the car was still top secret, the area had to be fully cordoned off.

They captured the NISSAN Qashqa in France, Germany and Los Angeles, where the TV spot was also produced independent of the print-production.

Double-booking the vehicle for shoots was avoided since the print motif was realised elegantly in CGI.
