And to stop him from barking early on, in order to avoid bother with the neighbours, they firstly had to buy some sticky dog chews, which were pushed into his molar teeth. Then it at least looked as if he would prove a challenge! And the Cape police made things a lot easier. They didn't just help with putting up the barriers, but also got involved in removing traffic signs that were in the way. And it goes without saying of course that this help had a price: The shifts changed at least six times a day in order to profit from the crew catering service.
