NEW : Stephanie Franzius, fashion designer, Berlin

New recruit to GoSee is Stephanie Franzius and here we’re showing you an insight into *b-season*, her latest Autumn/Winter collection 2005/2006. The feminine collection covers a wide range – from lavish draped wool jackets down to delicately made silk tops. The main focus is on skirts and dresses with simple elegance. The dominating colours of the winter collection are brown and grey and are enhanced by vibrant green tones and aubergine nuances. An eight-page editorial with the new collection and background info on the friendly designer can be seen in the latest issue ofSTYLE & THE FAMILY TUNES. The fashion editorial with model JESSICA c/o VIVA MODELS was shot by Juliana I. Smith and EILEEN c/o VIVASTYLE did the hair and make-up. When working with photographers the designer chooses artists, who can work closely with her aesthetic. Stephanie Franzius, who grew up in Berlin, started her fashion career in New York, gathered her first experiences at renowned fashion companies such as Anne Klein and Adrienne Vitardini and attended courses at the FIT and Parson's School of Art. After staying for a year she moved back to Berlin where she started her fashion design studies at the FHTW. During the course she founded her own label with two of her studying colleagues *3mulgator*. Then she continued her studies with a Masters degree at the Fashion Institute Arnhem in Amsterdam. The final collection was presented in 2003 during the couture shows in Paris. After another placement at Victor & Rolf in Amsterdam she founded label PISCES - STEPHANIE FRANZIUS. Her second collection for fall/winter 2004/05 was shown at the Beck*s Fashion Experience fashion show. Last September her spring/summer 2005 collection was introduced in the *Rendez-vous Paris* showroom to an international audience (as GoSee reported). After New York, Amsterdam and Berlin, her interest in cities Tokyo, Lisbon and Moscow grew. The Russian metropolis reminds her of Berlin-Mitte a few years ago. Stephanie is more than aware that Moscow could become the new Berlin. STYLE mag revealed that she hasn’t got anything against a good infrastructure – and the new fashion fairs are doing the city good! Even if commercial structures exist, a creative counter movement can be developed. We agree ! :-) !!
