abc Colorstudio : CGI camera drive for MONTBLANC, T-SYSTEMS F1 Motorsport

The abc Colorstudio collaborated with the Lafourmi service team for film productions and the Elephant 7 agency, to realize a web special for MONTBLANC and its Villeret 1858 collection. The directive was to make the details, luxuries and emotions that are Montblanc’s signature, touchable by using the exceptional idea of a camera drive through the clockwork.

The project was entirely realized using CGI, due to the impossibility of achieving the desired effect and details using conventional cameras. This piece of art, unique in the way it is done, can be seen at www.montblanc.com.

The abc Colorstudio and its 3D realization of the Villaret Minerva clockwork has been included in the “Elemental 3 – The world's Best Autodesk Art” art book. In this book, Ballistic publishing presents the world’s best autodesk work on an annual basis.

Abc Colorstudio were booked by Philipp and Keuntje to take over the post production for photographer Anke LUCKMANN c/o KAI TIETZ’s  motifs for T-SYSTEMS F1 Motorsport. The resulting motifs are currently being used in German-based advertising.
