Happy Finish : the Londoners present the winners. Cannes Lions and D&AD Awards on GoSee
Cannes continued. In our last NEWS on the CANNES LIONS advertising festival 2012, we present the impressive HAPPY FINISH winners and their images – plus D&AD News.
The Silver Outdoor Lion of the Cannes Lion in the ‘Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic Drinks’ category went to the winter image for GUINNESS Irish stout. Paul Zak was the photographer for the AMV agency.
The idea behind the campaign: Guinness reveals what men really have on their minds when they think of the ‘right’ Christmas present. Artist Stefano CHERUBINI provided the knitted post.
British actress and model Kelly Brook got on her knees for the new LYNX Excite deodorant and photographer Simon Emmett’s camera. David TWEEDIE c/o HAPPY FINISH provided him with heavenly support.
The image is taken from a series for a campaign on various channels, created and supervised by the BBH advertising agency.
The ‘Lynx Excite’ campaign by BBH received the coveted ‘Creative Effectiveness Grand Prix’ at Cannes 2012 for a second year running.
Channel 4’s advert for ‘Top Boy’ won at the D&AD Awards. The image, photographed by Niall O’Brien, won the ‘Photography for Advertising’ Award. Creative Retoucher Anna WATSON-SMITH also had her part to play in this.
