NEW : The Scope, post production, Hamburg - Welcome to planet power for BMW S 1000 RR campaign
Hamburg-based post production company The Scope is new at GoSee. Photographer Mats Cordt recently commissioned them with the post production of the BMW S 1000 RR ‘Welcome to planet power’ campaign.
The agency was Serviceplan Erste Werbeagentur, with Creative Director Matthias Harbeck and Art Director Jutta Steinberger.
The brief was to develop abstract locations for the ‘planet power’ concept. Renowned set designer and architect Tino Schaedler, under the direction of Mats Cordt, designed the locations in Hollywood and delivered them as finished Maya scenes.
Tino has also designed and realised sets for box-office hits such as ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. Maya is a type of software for 3D modelling, animation, rendering and visual effects and provides artists with a complete end-to-end workflow to cover an array of creative tasks.
This work process avoids frictional issues in the transferring of designs in Maya scenes, as the designer realised his own ideas in 3D and delivered exactly what he had set out to do.
For the sets, Mat selected the perspectives, lit the locations, supervised the composing with the photographed images and the look development.
Meanwhile The Scope Team concentrated on providing the technical and logistical framework needed to provide a smooth and easy creative process.
Thanks to their many years of experience with real photo productions, The Scope have specialised in, and optimised 3D production processes to better meet the needs of commercial photographers.
