Nigel Harniman : location & studio photography, CGI projects for MITSUBISHI L200 plus 'Warrior' promotion and PEUGEOT 3008HY4 sneak preview

The attached CGI project for MITSUBISHI, realised by London-based photographer Nigel HARNIMAN and team is made up of a total of three commercial motifs plus a landscape image as a teaser.

The car was shot in a studio, this was followed by an elaborate production of unusual backgrounds in CGI. The Mitsubishi L200 is a pick-up by Mitsubishi Motors, which has been built into several generations of vehicles since 1978.

It was a particular CGI challenge to merge the various materials to create a realistic looking landscape.

An additional Mitsubishi commercial motif presents the L200 in a fighting cage – the motif is coincides with the release of much hyped movie ‘Warrior’ starring Nick Nolte in mid September.

Nigel was commissioned by a London-based agency to photograph an image for the launch of the Diesel-Hybrid PEUGEOT 3008HY4. The production took place on the streets of Europe, GoSee presents a first motif.

Nigel was also booked for GM / VAUXHALL UK, for press motifs including location photography and post, as well as the VOLVO C30 for SCP Sweden (location landscape & HDRI capture plus CGI cars in the studio).

Recent awards – Nigel was presented won the PDN USA Photo Annual 2011 and received various awards for different photographs at the Epson Pano Awards 2011.

Plus, several of his favourite photos (landscape, people, CGI and of course cars) have been included in a charity book for ‘Breakthrough Breast Cancer’, founded by Bill Freedman and his children.

Bill’s wife Canadian actress Toby Robins (1931-1986), who suffered from breast cancer, passed away in 1986.
