Recom: CGI for PORSCHE Panamera, AUDI, KÄRCHER, LAMBO and SPEEDWEEK private view on 2 October in Berlin

Once again, recomCGI travelled to the South American metropolis of Mexico City to shoot a CGI Panamera editorial with photographer Uli Heckmann on the context of the megacity and the architecture by star architect Michel Rojkind.

"The 4. Dimension. The new Panamera“ web special which focuses on an interactive online magazine, was selected from over 3,000 entries from 26 countries for the Summit Gold in the “Interactive Media“ category. 

Furthermore, there was also a Communicator Award of Distinction (Silver Status), a red dot design award and iF communication design award. Congratulations to the BB&K agency, Martin Spies (AD) and recomCGI who contributed a part of the “content”, which we are pleased to present here at GoSee.

We also present two new FULL CGI pieces from RECOM’s London office. First of all they produced a FULL CGI space and vehicle for the Philipp und Keuntje agency and their clients AUDI’s guarantee campaign. The AD was Rouven Steimann. They created a  bird’s eye view of an entire street block with a small park, residential and office buildings, as well as a roundabout feature for South German clients KÄRCHER (Agency: Panama, CD: Holger Wiesenfarth).

RECOM’s minute attention to detail can be wowed at, at the UPdate Hamburg on 9 October, where they will be presenting their high-resolution portfolio prints.

The recomCGI head office in Stuttgart realised an additional free CGI portfolio project in collaboration with GoSee member MARC TRAUTMANN. The typical CGI wire-frame look was generated into a “real” wire-frame car and placed in various fashion contexts. We have attached the first two motifs from the elaborate series.

RECOM are returning to the earlier use of their Berlin office space as a gallery. They will be showing SPEEDWEEK, photographs by Alexander Babic (GoSee reported) from 6 October until 24 December. To arrange a viewing call +49 (0)30 408191770. The private view will take place on 2 October.

RECOM is both looking forward to the private view on 2 October and being able to welcome guests to their stall at the UPdate in Hamburg a week later.

RECOM’s Berlin office is offering a 6 month (preferably 12 month) internship in their Artwork/Postproduction department, with long term potential and eventual permanent employment.

In addition to motivation and a passion for images and photography, the applicant should have experience and knowledge based around picture retouching, and/or have pursued media based studies or an apprenticeship, be confident in the use of MACs, have a willingness to cooperate in project organisation and interact with photographers and advertising agencies.
