3-D Design : Dummybau for Staudinger & Franke

The 3-D Design team built the dummies for photographer and GoSee member, Andreas Franke’s campaign for DAR VIDA crispbread.

Assigned by TBWA NY, the team also realized dummies for client EQUAL Sweetener (Australia) and photographer Andreas Franke. The Vienna-based photographer also ordered a dummy ear to be made for his client HEINEKEN. The same applies to the current VISA campaign for the TBWA L.A. agency.

Jürgen Mühle and his team have been creating dummies and models for commercial photography and films for over 30 years.

We wanted to find out if, during the times of omnipresent post production, the dummy construction business was still in demand. So who else could one possibly ask, other than Jürgen: *For a while of course, post production was a large competition factor we faced. However, at the moment a lot of photographers are returning to dummies as they look more individual than a purely computer product. The photographer is also able to communicate more directly, put more depth in an image or create a certain light. The important thing to keep in mind with dummy constructions is that the final product should not look like a dummy.*
