Landing Zone Production : ORANGE Kampagne auf Teneriffa

The advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi Simko from pretty Switzerland journeyed to the even more seasonally prettier island of Tenerife. Here they realized the new ORANGE campaign with the support of Landing Zone Production and Belgian photographer Frank Uyttenhove.

After an intensive bout of casting and location scouting carried out by the Landing Zone team, the shoot in Santa Cruz's famous Calatrava auditorium ran like clockwork with wonderfully warm weather and highly motivated models.

The Auditorio de Tenerife (Tenerife auditorium) is the town's true landmark. The building which Tenerife also sees as its opera house, was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.

In 1989, Santiago Calatrava recieved the assignment for the planning of the new congress and concert hall. The building which had originally been planned for 30 million Euro ended up costing 72 million Euro by the time it was completed. On 26. September 2003, the buliding was celebratorily opened – as expected of such large investments and *attendance compulsory* was the rule applied to Queen Sofia and Crown Prince Felipe.
