Luminosa Production : now also cover Venice

What have Donna Leon, Thomas Mann, Nicolas Reminx and Louis Begley (besides many others) got in common ? Correct, they all wrote about the lovely canal city Venice. The watery town straight out of a fairy tale, which is crossed by 177 channels, is a one-off open air museum of the arts and resembles the stage of a play. Its atmosphere is one of a kind and is permanently surrounded by an aura of secrecy. Luminosa Production now offers its production in this very special and most certainly unique location.

The story of Venice began in the 5th century when Veneter, fleeing from the Germanic tribes, settled in the lagoon. This was during the middle ages when the city experienced a gigantic uprise and had been the dominant seafaring republic in Europe for a long time. Marco Palo, a Venecian, discovered the route to China and thereby established the trade with far Eastern spice and luxuries. The incredible opulence, that accumulated in Venice can be seen in the city's dazzling palaces to this day. We have attached some of the motifs here, but even more can be acquired through Luminosa.
