NEW : Magic Mountain Productions, South Africa - first news and meeting in person at the UPdate

Magic Mountain Productions from Cape Town is a NEW entry at GoSee. Magic Mountain Productions was established in 2002 and is one of the leading production companies in South Africa, offering both an efficient and personalised service.

Sabine Jakob, Director and Co-Owner of the company, is German and her 17 years worth of professional experience are a guarantee for the smooth running of stress-free productions.

Thus it comes as no surprise that her loyal clients include international brands such as Smart, Peugeot, West Cigarettes, Malibu Liquor, Commerzbank, L’Oreal, Leica, Karstadt, Neckermann, Bon Prix, Schwab Versand, Orsay, C&A, Yves Rocher, Esprit, S'Oliver, Basler, Manor and many, many more.

Despite the unusual heat wave that has remained in Cape Town over the past few weeks, Sabine and her team shot all over the Western Cape.

The 2010 season kicked off with a shoot for photographer Ralph Hartmann from Hamburg, followed by a Karstadt Outdoor Catalogue shoot with Stefan Eisand from Munich.

Photographer Sabine Liewald also paid a visit to South Africa for an EKN shoot, which was supported by the Magic Mountain team.

Thomas De Monaco from Switzerland, Uli Blasi from Munich as well as Martin Jakob from Stuttgart were also seen in and around Cape Town with Magic Mountain Productions.

The World Cup isn’t the only reason why Cape Town is fast becoming one of the world's most visited cities. Whole hosts of photo teams have been fascinated by the unusual light and locations in Cape Town for quite some time now.

These advantages, paired with the production company’s professionalism see clients such as German catalogue HAPPY SIZE send several teams to Cape Town to realise several productions at once.

The teams survived the heat wave and returned to chilly Europe with fantastic photographs – slightly sunburned, happy and hoping to be back soon.
