recom : CGI-Portfolios, PORSCHE 2008 Calendar

RecomCGI collaborated with a host of renowned photographers, to produce countless CGI-Portfolio-Motifs. A CAYENNE was placed in the tropical forests of New Zealand for Andreas Burz, Christian Schmidt and the CGI team produced museum style indoor motifs, and a beach scene in Brittany, Ernesto Martens journeyed through salt deserts in Argentinia, for GoSee member MARC TRAUTMANN, recomCGI positioned the PORSCHE 911 Turbo on 5th Avenue and relocated two LAMBORGHINI Murcielago to Patagonia and Steffen Schraegle travelled to the furthest points in Chile and Brazil for his large portfolio production, which consisted of eight motifs. We have attached a selection of the latest creations.

Since June, Thorsten Jasper Weese has been accompanying photographer and GoSee member HARRY STEININGER (Studio CHALLENGE) on various trips for the new PORSCHE 2008 CALENDAR. Armed with a SpherocamHDR and laptop for pre-visualisation and layout postproduction, the twelve calendar motifs were produced to meet the demands of communication agency Bruce B.’s (Thomas Elser, Thomas Waschke) concept.

The concept was: *60 years of Porsche* - a calendar in the form of a journey back in time, to mark Porsche’s 60. Birthday. A journey in time which only takes place in the present. Current Porsche models are accompanied by twelve historic vehicles with spotlights from their times….
