Steel Productions : OUTDOOR FASHION, CARLSBERG

The South African production company’s team already started the 12th season for English client OUTDOOR FASHION in July, with a production in 4 seasons. The photographer for the catalogue production was Chris Dawes. Within a week the temperature went from a sunny 20 degrees to 100% real African snow was created at a temperature of -0,5 degrees. The Steel special effects team had to stay on stand-by so as to magic the snow for the desired look. However, Mother Nature didn’t put up much of a fight and the snow storms turned out to be a great source of entertainment for the team. The location was approximately 2 hours away from Cape Town and situated in a white landscape of untouched nature.

The CARLSBERG campaign was shot last season by Dimitri Daniloff. The agency was Saatchi & Saatchi, London. The production called for the special effect team as all four seasons were needed, including artificial snow and rain.
