Steel Productions : We Speak Image for CANON, LANDROVER, ....

Photographer Garry Simpson travelled with Steel to the driest, most scant, yet highly visually tempting locations the world has to realize the CANON *We Speak Image* campaign. The team braved temperatures of over 50 degrees Celsius to shoot the stunning photo set against the raw beauty of Dead Man’s Curve in central Namibia.

It was exactly three months ago, that they realized the no man’s land motif for the LANDROVER DEFENDER campaign for Young & Rubicam – London, also photographed by Garry Simpson. The shoot took place in an equally sparse environment, this time near Cape Town.

Another campaign was realized in Namibia. This time it was for an educational project by the ALWAYS USA company, in partnership with Hero and Leo Burnett Chicago. The photographs were realized by Graham WESTMORELAND c/o MARION ENSTE-JASPERS on the northern border of Namibia and Angola. The location is the home of the San-Tribe, the so-called bush men and original inhabitants of South Africa. The project was set up to support the local children and was an amazing experience for the whole team.
