GoSee Tip : The Polyamorous Affair : European record release, concert & party - the strange bedfellows perform in Berlin

Eddie Chacon and Sissy Sainte-Marie are The Polyamourous Affair. They root from Los Angeles, but at the moment they are as far from their hometown as they are from any form of convention. For now, the married couple has chosen Berlin as their new home.

Since joining forces in Denmark in 2007, they have released their third album ‘Strange Bedfellows’. Those who are familiar with their work know: the promising sounding name won’t let you down. This coming Friday, they will present their spectacle at the Blind Date Swingers Club No.8 club night at Berlin’s Roter Salon der Volksbühne. Their live show is a multimedia event, starring visuals pioneer Mr. Cocoon as creative director. The Polyamourous Affair do not want to be like a thousand other bands, they want to do something provocative, something which enchants and hypnotises people and, of course, something that promises to be great fun.

Some are trying to pigeonhole the duo into a specific genre, but this is a pointless excercise. The band's own Facebook page offers no further explanation and their genre is listed as ‘unclassifiable’. So, just give it a listen decide for yourself!
