NEW : Bryan Adams, photographer, London
Outstanding talent Bryan Adams is new at GoSee. He has not only enjoyed success in the music business, but also in photography. Despite his tour date commitments the artist still manages to find the time to swap his microphone for a camera and produce fashion and celebrity editorials for international magazines.
Ray Liotta was in front of his camera for the current issue of ZOO MAGAZINE. The shoot took place in Hollywood’s legendary Hotel Chateau Marmont. And we have the results to show you here.
The actor has made a name for himself in the most diverse of film genres. And he always cuts a fine figure - whether he is playing the part of a whinging moaner or a tough guy. His breakthrough came in 1986 in the thriller "Something Wild" as the volatile ex-boyfriend of Melanie Griffith. This role earned him the Boston Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Role and a Golden Globe nomination. In 1998 he played alongside Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro in "Cop Land". The film is about a suburban community just outside of New York, which is mainly populated by police officers and where corruption can thrive undetected.
Bryan Adams photographed Hollywood star Diane Kruger for the October issue of HEAR THE WORLD magazine. The German-born and Paris-based actress is now an ambassador of the HEAR THE WORLD initiative, which makes her the second German face, alongside Franka Potente, of Phonak’s worldwide campaign for conscious hearing.
In addition to Diane Kruger, Mischa Barton, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Billy Idol have joined the team of famous ambassadors. They have all been photographed for this good cause by Bryan Adams, the official photographer of the initiative, in the Hear the World pose with a hand behind one ear – which symbolises conscious hearing. By participating they hope to raise awareness about the issue of hearing and hearing loss.
The glossy magazine, which focuses on the topic of hearing, has a print run of 100,000 and is published in German and English, draws the attention of the readers to the countless facets and fascination of hearing. As an international German star, Diane Kruger is taking on an important role in conveying the cause and message of the initiative in Germany. She celebrated her international breakthrough in 2004 with her role as Helena in Wolfgang Petersen’s “Troy” and is currently filming Quentin Tarantino’s new film “Inglorious Bastards” alongside Brad Pitt and Til Schweiger in Berlin. It will be appearing in cinemas in 2009.
