GAPfilms presented Charley Stadler and Markus Goller at the BBDO Director's Lounge on 18.02.10 in Düsseldorf

The BBDO Director’s Lounge took place on 18 February 2010 with a focus on German directors. GAPfilms sent two of its top class talents and presented Charley Stadler and Markus Goller. GoSee exclusively presents an array of background information and plenty of visual candy!

After graduating in Germany with a Masters degree in visual communications, CHARLEY STADLER made his name as a photographer on publications such as Elle, Vogue and Max. Widely respected for his versatility and experience Charley’s directing style depicts strong visual storytelling, big picture combined with exceptional talent driven performances and a solid knowledge of special effects.

In 1997, ‘Campaign Magazine’ elected him as one of the ‘worlds hottest new directors’. Charley has shot way over 100 commercials around the globe and has won numerous awards at the N.Y Festival, London Int’l Awards, Cannes, Bessies, Mobius, Epica, Montreux and the ADC. In ‘2005 Charley wrapped up directing a feature film starring Gary Oldman and Robert Carlyle titled "Dead Fish“.

MARKUS GOLLER was born in Munich, Germany in 1969. After graduating high school Markus completed an editing internship at Filmhaus Munich and worked as a freelance editor for commercials, video clips as well as feature films. In 2001 Markus switched from editing to directing and works as a freelance director for commerials, documentaries and feature films. He realized his first feature-length movie "Mask under Masks" in 2001.

His latest motion picture "Friendship!" has already entertained over one million visitors. After spending several years in Los Angeles, Markus has now returned to Germany and lives in Berlin.
