What really matters … Kapturing already photographed the Egyptian-French director and model Sharon Hakim for the October ‘22 issue of VOGUE Arabia. Besides the motifs, Kapturing was also responsible for directing the film for this story straight out of a fairy tale which was realized in Paris. I like you to be with me… PETRA OBERMUELLER’s fashion photo shoot for VOGUE ARABIA – inspired by the ‘Golden Hour’ – presents you a series of images capturing the magic of light fit for a film set. Petra staged the fashion in an interplay of beauty and drama, bathing in natural light.

“Besides the photo shoot, we also shot a short fashion film for the feature. Capturing the energy and movement of the models on film proved to be a unique challenge, which is why we are so thrilled with the final result. The shoot is themed upon ‘Urban Glamour’, and we wanted to showcase the clothing in style paired with the emotional flair of high fashion. The industrial setting, with its bare brick walls and concrete floors, provided the perfect contrast for the glamorous fashion we staged.” says photographer and director Petra Obermueller.

The high fashion looks of model Borté came from stylist Nathalie von Gordon, with hair & makeup by Jo Paschalis.

“Working with such an amazing team of professionals and getting the chance to realize our creative vision has been a real pleasure.
