About Pascal Duval

Head Of Creative ASOS

From the day he could pick up a pencil Pascal Duval has been scribbling away and always been drawn to the creative side of life. After years of painting as a teenager he became more interested in the human aspect of applied arts and fashion seemed a logical step to take. In 1996 he emerged with a degree in fashion design and his first job in the industry was at G-Sus. After he co-founded Da Bridge – a store selling anything street-style culture. He spent nights creating flyers for clubs which lead him to the world of advertising.

He started as an Art Director at HCM and moved on as a Design Director at BSUR Concepting in 1999. After BSUR, he founded Le Pas Cool in Amsterdam in 2005 where he delivered project-based communication-concepts for various brands and agencies.

In 2007, Pascal joined Wieden + Kennedy, Shanghai as an art director to work on Nike's 2008 Olympic campaign. Other projects included Chivas Regal and Nokia. He was offered a fulltime position but was unable to commit to living in Shanghai. Pascal returned to Amsterdam to find the love of his life.

With more than ten years of experience Pascal Duval has worked full time for fashion brand G-Sus, communication agencies HCM and BSUR Concepting and worked freelance for agencies TBWA and Wieden + Kennedy, Shanghai.

He has directed and designed projects for Nike, MTV, MINI, Sony, Heineken, Levi’s, Greenpeace, Davidoff, O’Neill, VH1, Universal Music, ABN AMRO, Red Bull, Swarovski, Jack & Jones and Wrangler. He has won various pitches including Mini for BSUR, Heineken STR for Iris and ABN AMRO for TBWA. He has been awarded o.a. a Cannes Lions for the Heineken STR bottle design.

After working as a Creative Director for Iris and VBAT, he joined forces at G-STAR RAW and was awarded a Cannes Lion for The Art Of Raw film and multiple awards for the Raw For The Oceans collaboration with Pharrell Williams.

Pascal Duval just joined ASOS in London as their new Head Of Creative.
