Xatar was born under the name of Giwar Hajabi on 24 December, 1981, in Kurdistan, Iran. He is a German rapper of Kurdish origin, though he is currently settled in Bonn. His stage name Xatar is taken from the Arabic language and means danger. Xatar is the founder and owner of the label Alles oder Nix Records. In 2015, he also founded the label Kopfticker Records.
