Hello!  I am kathrinmakowski , a Munich based fashion and beauty photographer. After my study of languages I dedicated myself to what I truly wanted to do. I wanted to combine my abilities with a profession that gives me the possibility to feel free, to express feelings and to allow me to develop as a person.

To get there, I was lucky to spend several years assisting very talented photographers who gave me the opportunity to learn and to reflect different points of view. After a certain time, I felt I needed a different inspiring place in order to move forward. I moved to London and New York, realizing several personal projects and extending my portfolio. Back home, I started working for different magazines and commercial clients (Opus, Glamour, HUF Magazine, Quality Magazine...).

My work connects a high level of naturalness and sensitivity with a calm and modern visual language. For me, the way to create autenthic photographs is by realizing who you are and putting this into your work.
