‘IDEE Kaffee – mild can be this stimulating.’ In the lead role for the online campaign, playing alongside the animated dancer by illustrator Katrin FUNCKE c/o ART ACT, is no other than Herr Darboven, Managing Director of the traditional company since 1966. In his imagination, an empty coffee cup is transformed into a woman dancing to jazz music. In this charming way, the film interprets the stimulating effect of IDEE KAFFEE and is, according to ART ACT, “...a wonderful blend of photography, illustration, animation and real film.”
IDEE Kaffee stands for coffee that has it all: mildness, aroma and full caffeine content. This idea behind IDEE KAFFEE has not only laid the foundation for the brand but also for Darboven’s unique steam refinement method. Officially registered as a protected trademark in 1915, the coffee was launched on the market much later in 1927. IDEE KAFFEE is available as filter coffee, pads, or whole beans in 100 % arabica quality. Gold Express instant coffee and two decaffeinated varieties make the assortment complete – what more could one possibly wish for. Now available is IDEE KAFFEE Espresso as whole beans or practical pads – also made of 100 % arabica beans.
What once started as a coffee store in Hamburg has meanwhile become an internationally operating commercial enterprise – with around 900 employees and 16 subsidiaries in ten European countries. GoSee: darboven.com & idee-kaffee.com
