Brand founder Rudolf Hauschka (* 6 November, 1891, in Vienna; † 28 December, 1969, in Boll) was an Austrian chemist. He founded the anthroposophically oriented Wala Heilmittel GmbH in Bad Boll and developed what he referred to as the rhythmic manufacturing process. He founded the first WALA Laboratory in 1935 near Ludwigsburg as well as the WALA-Heilmittellaboratorium Dr. R. Hauschka OHG in 1953 together with further shareholders. The name WALA is derived from the initials of the processing method: Warmth – Ash – Light – Ash.

GUCCI is celebrating 1970s couture for the stylish 2020 man with a capsule collection, brought to the public by e-tailer MYTHERSA. The collection is comprised of 46 pieces from accessories to shoes and fashion. Responsible for the looks was Italian fashion designer Alessandro Michele, since 2015 Creative Director at Gucci, the luxury Italian fashion house where he has worked a since 2002. He is in charge of all collections as well as the global brand image.
Figurehead of the capsule collection is Australian band The Parcels, who make a striking appearance clad in total looks for the campaign video.
