'Until the last credits' - Michael RATHMAYR c/o KLAUS STIEGEMEYER photographs movie theater history for DIE ZEIT Austria

Breitenseer Lichtspiele, also known as Breitenseer movie theater, is a shop cinema in Breitensee, in Vienna's 14th district of Penzing. It is one of the oldest still running movie theaters in the world. Owner of the cinema is retired AHS teacher Anna Nitsch-Fitz. According to Anna, only her choice of program makes it possible to run such an old movie theater in today's competition both with television and the big cinemas.
